The development of polarization‐sensitive ultraviolet photodetectors is limited by poor heterojunction quality and low polarization sensitivity. This study integrates synthesized CsAg2I3 single crystals with intrinsic non‐centrosymmetry into van der Waals heterojunction devices, demonstrating pronounced pyro‐phototronic effect.

Polarimetric Channel Imbalance Evaluation of GF-3 SAR Products by Bragg-Like Targets
Polarimetric calibration is crucial to ensure the accuracy and reliability of subsequent application results. Since Gaofen-3(GF-3) has been providing polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar images for six years, it is necessary to monitor the polarimetric ...

Four-Channel Polarimetric-Spectral Intensity Modulation Imager
To solve the problems of channel crosstalk and edge jitter caused by the Fourier transform demodulation of polarimetric-spectral intensity modulation in polarization spectral data, this paper proposes a Four-Channel Polarimetric Spectrometer (FCPS) with ...

Introducing Partial Polarimetric Layers into a Curvelet-based Change Detection [PDF]
In this article a new change detection approach for polarimetric SAR data is presented. The further development of an already published change detection approach based on Curvelet transform for single polarized SAR images is combined with partial ...

Ship and Oil-Spill Detection Using the Degree of Polarization in Linear and Hybrid/Compact Dual-Pol SAR [PDF]
Monitoring and detection of ships and oil spills using synthetic aperture radar (SAR) have received a considerable attention over the past few years, notably due to the wide area coverage and day and night all-weather capabilities of SAR systems.

Bayesian polarization calibration and imaging in very long baseline interferometry
Context. Extracting polarimetric information from very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) data is demanding but vital to understanding the synchrotron radiation process and the magnetic fields of celestial objects, such as active galactic nuclei (AGNs).

A Non-Parametric Texture Descriptor for Polarimetric SAR Data with Applications to Supervised Classification [PDF]
The paper describes a novel representation of polarimetric SAR (PolSAR) data that is inherently non-parametric and therefore particularly suited for characterising data in which the commonly adopted hypothesis of Gaussian backscatter is not ...
