Polarimetric imaging and blood vessel quantification
We applied a polarimetric analysis to retinal imaging, to examine the potential improvement in characterizing blood vessels. To minimize the reflection artifact of the superficial wall of the blood vessel, we computed depolarized light images by removing the polarization retaining light reaching the instrument.

Aerosol‐Cloud Interactions: Overcoming a Barrier to Projecting Near‐Term Climate Evolution and Risk
Abstract Aerosol‐cloud interactions (ACI) are a major source of uncertainty in climate science, critically affecting our ability to project near‐term climate evolution and assess societal risks. These interactions influence effective radiative forcing, cloud dynamics, and precipitation patterns, yet remain insufficiently constrained due to limitations ...

Contrast optimization in broadband passive polarimetric imaging based on color camera.
Broadband polarimetric imaging consists of forming an image under spectrally wide illumination after having optimized the polarization state analyzer (PSA) to maximize the target/background discriminability.

The chromosphere and prominence magnetometer
The Chromosphere and Prominence Magnetometer (ChroMag) is conceived with the goal of quantifying the intertwined dynamics and magnetism of the solar chromosphere and in prominences through imaging spectro-polarimetry of the full solar disk.

Spatiotemporally Resolved Orbital Hall Effect in a Topological Semimetal
Real‐space mapping of orbital angular momentum (OAM) transport is achieved using contact‐free polarimetric terahertz spectroscopy. This principle is applied to the topological semimetal Td‐WTe2, revealing the spatial separation of electrons into two distinct regions characterized by opposite out‐of‐plane OAM (±Lz).

Next Generation of Thermal Barrier Coatings with High Temperature Metal‐Silicide Metamaterials
Thermal metamaterials have emerged as a powerful platform in the engineering of radiative heat transfer across a broad range of applications, including thermal imaging, passive cooling, and thermo‐photovoltaics. Here, a novel application is presented for metamaterials: thermal dual barrier coatings (TDBCs).

Hybrid Dual-Polarization Synthetic Aperture Radar
Compact polarimetry for a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) system is reviewed. Compact polarimetry (CP) is intended to provide useful polarimetric image classifications while avoiding the disadvantages of space-based quadrature-polarimetric (quad-pol) SARs.

Three-dimensional polarimetric computational integral imaging
In this paper, we propose a novel 3D polarimetric computational integral imaging system by using polarization diversity of objects under natural illumination conditions. In the system, the measured Stokes polarization parameters are utilized to generate degree of polarization images of a 3D scene.
