Stochastic Scattering Polarimetry
Physical Review Letters, 2008We introduce the general concept of stochastic scattering polarimetry and demonstrate that the anisotropic polarizability of a scattering object can be obtained by analyzing the statistical moments of polarimetrically measured intensity distributions.

Imaging polarimetry of the rainbow
Applied Optics, 2003Using imaging polarimetry, we measured the polarization patterns of a rainbow on the shore of the Finnish town of Oulu in July 2001. We present here high-resolution color-coded maps of the spatial distributions of the degree and angle of linear polarization of the rainbow in the red (650 +/- 30 nm), green (550 +/- 30 nm), and blue (450 +/- 30 nm ...

We address the magnetic field structure of solar pores. The data were obtained at the Gregory Coude telescope at Izana using the ATI CCD camera system to observe pores with three spectral lines: one magnetically sensitive line, recording all 4 Stokes profiles, and two g = 0 lines where only the intensity profiles were measured.

Deep Inelastic Scattering DIS 2006, 2005
The techniques used to measure precisely the polarization of the proton beams at RHIC are presented and discussed. Fast polarization measurements are performed using polarimeters based on pC elastic scattering. The absolute normalization is provided by a polarized hydrogen gas jet target. During the 2004 polarized proton run a relative precision on the
