The Changes and Continuities in The International Order and Implications for Foreign Policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran [PDF]
Introduction: International order has been undergone structural changes during past decades: the collapse of communist bloc, which turned the theoretical field of international relations into futuring speculations about the post-Cold War order, also rise

Geopolitics of International Relations, Ethnic Polarization and Internal Conflict [PDF]
Geostrategic position of a country not just creates opportunities in form of bilateral and multilateral collaborations, it may also pose stern long term concerns and spillover effects in terms of insecurity and conflict. Pakistan, if not a classic example, is a typical case of continually high geopolitics of international relations: its geostrategic ...

Better Document-level Sentiment Analysis from RST Discourse Parsing [PDF]
Discourse structure is the hidden link between surface features and document-level properties, such as sentiment polarity. We show that the discourse analyses produced by Rhetorical Structure Theory (RST) parsers can improve document-level sentiment ...

Polarity in International Relations
This book brings together a group of leading scholars on international relations to develop and apply the concept of polarity on past and present international relations and discuss its applicability and usefulness in the future. Despite a comprehensive debate on a global power shift, often discussed in terms of the decline of the United States, the ...

Theory of local electric polarization and its relation to internal strain: Impact on polarization potential and electronic properties of group-III nitrides [PDF]
We present a theory of local electric polarization in crystalline solids and apply it to study the case of wurtzite group-III nitrides. We show that a local value of the electric polarization, evaluated at the atomic sites, can be cast in terms of a summation over nearest-neighbor distances and Born effective charges.

THE CONCEPT OF POLARITY AND CENTRES OF POWER IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
This paper explains the concept of polarity and centres of power where the poles are divided into three types in the international system. To be a great power, the states build and maintain their power capability in the system, and that capability is growing in every period, such as the emergence of nuclear power in the Cold War era.

Internal Radio-Echo Reflections of Polar Snow Covers in Relation to Acidic Layers and Density Fluctuations [PDF]
To confirm radio-echo layering due to changes in density variations and in specific conductivity in the amount of acid impurities, radio-echo sounding surveys with impulse radar technique were carried out. The continuous and strong internal layers of the snow covers were found to give good correlation with strong peaks of specific conductivity of ...
