Wavelength tunable 10-GHz 3-ps pulse source using a dispersion decreasing fiber-based nonlinear optical loop mirror [PDF]
We experimentally demonstrate the use of a dispersion decreasing fiber (DDF)-based nonlinear optical loop mirror (NOLM) for the generation of wavelength tunable soliton-like pulses at a repetition rate of 10 GHz.

The effects of solid‐state electrolyte architecture and electrolyte/electrode interfacial polarization resistance on Critical Current Density and the risks for “interfacial” and “internal” Li‐metal dendrite formation were investigated in simulations of FIB‐reconstructed porous‐dense Li7La3Zr2O12 (LLZO) “bilayers”, providing insight for full cells ...

All-polarization maintaining fiber laser and pulse compressor [PDF]
Fiber lasers have become one of the most important technologies in various industrial, medical and scientific applications. However, their vulnerability to environmental disturbances, such as vibrations and thermal fluctuations, limits the range of ...

Chiral dopants induce supramolecular chirality in an achiral polymer (PFO), generating spin‐polarized carriers via the chiral‐induced spin selectivity (CISS) and suggesting a possible contribution of Spin‐polarized carrier transport to circularly polarized electroluminescence (CPEL).

Static modal energy transfer in high power, polarization maintaining fiber laser systems
In this work, we predict the existence of static modal energy transfer in polarization-maintaining (PM) fibers. This phenomenon, related to the effect of transverse mode instability (TMI), appears because of the coexistence of two modal interference ...

Light irradiation activates the Fe2O3‐BiVO4 heterostructure, enabling efficient solar‐electrochemical coupling in zinc‐air batteries. The built‐in electric field drives directional charge separation, guiding photoelectrons toward oxygen reduction sites and accumulating holes for oxygen evolution, thereby reducing polarization and enhancing discharge ...

Optical Birefringence Fiber Temperature Sensors in the Visible Spectrum of Light
This article describes experimental tests to determine PM fibers Panda style responses to a thermal source with different initial temperature. The aim of this study was to determine the sensitivity of a polarization maintaining fiber to the radiating ...

Mask‐encoded UV exposure translates digital color information into pixel‐resolved structural‐color patterns in hydroxypropyl cellulose gels. Gaussian‐process‐guided calibration links UV processing conditions, wavelength, and mask opacity, enabling parallel fabrication of multicolor images in a single 10 s exposure.
