New neutron transmission supermirror remanent polarizer [PDF]
A new neutron transmission supermirror remanent polarizer is proposed. The polarizer is compact. It consists of two solid state polarizing parts. Parts of the polarizer have antiparallel magnetization of magnetic layers of supermirror structures. Both parts of the polarizer have magnetic remanence.

In this study, a close correlation among the resting period, the cyclability of the zinc anode, and the evolution of byproduct zinc hydroxide sulfate (ZHS) is identified. Furthermore, it is shown that proper control of the interfacial ZHS can significantly enhance the cycle performance of the zinc anode by effectively inhibiting corrosion and promoting

Electrochemical Polarization I . A Theoretical Analysis of the Shape of Polarization Curves
At low overvoltage values, deviations from Tafel behavior for a noncorroding electrode are due primarily to the reverse reaction of the oxidation‐reduction system, and at high overvoltages to concentration and/or resistance polarization.

Photo‐Assisted Zn‐Iodine Battery via Bifunctional Cathode with Iodine Host and Solar Response Boost
A bifunctional cathode based on BiOI materials is developed for photo‐assisted Zn‐iodine batteries, serving as both an iodine host and a solar‐responsive material. This design enables dual reaction routes involving vacancy‐based iodine storage and reversible two steps iodine redox.

Learning to Deblur Polarized Images [PDF]
A polarization camera can capture four polarized images with different polarizer angles in a single shot, which is useful in polarization-based vision applications since the degree of polarization (DoP) and the angle of polarization (AoP) can be directly computed from the captured polarized images. However, since the on-chip micro-polarizers block part

Benchmarking Burst Super-Resolution for Polarization Images: Noise Dataset and Analysis [PDF]
Snapshot polarization imaging calculates polarization states from linearly polarized subimages. To achieve this, a polarization camera employs a double Bayer-patterned sensor to capture both color and polarization. It demonstrates low light efficiency and low spatial resolution, resulting in increased noise and compromised polarization measurements ...
