The research focuses on the interaction between the magnetic DyPc2 molecules and the superconducting Pb(111) surface. A complex quantum spin system is observed in both DyPc2 molecules embedded in the selfâassembled monolayer and those scattered atop it, where Kondo screening and superconducting pairing coexist and compete.
