Li and Na metal anodes have quite different plating/stripping reversibilities in literature; here we find that weaker concentration polarization is responsible for the better reversibility of Na metal anodes than that of Li metal anodes.

ELECTROCHEMISTRY OF THE NICKEL OXIDE ELECTRODE: PART III. ANODIC POLARIZATION AND SELF-DISCHARGE BEHAVIOR [PDF]
Further evidence that the rate-controlling process in self-discharge of the nickel oxide electrode is the anodic partial reaction of oxygen evolution is reported and is based on: (a) comparison of the heats of activation for open-circuit oxygen evolution and for d-c.

Abstract Surface concentration polarization induces fouling processes accompanied by changes in the resistance of a semipermeable membrane, but the connection between these two phenomena has not yet been evaluated. Here, we propose to connect them by introducing the concept of pH equivalent (pHeq), which is used to describe the electrical properties ...

Induced polarization and surface electrochemistry
Induced-polarization (IP) responses arising from activation overvoltage are investigated, with the goal of relating established electrochemical properties and processes to IP time constants. In activation overvoltage, an electrical double layer with a well-defined areal capacitance forms at the mineral-electrolyte interface.

Electrochemistry of indium. Part II. Electrolytic polarization at n-type indium oxide electrode
Anodic polarization of n-type indium oxide has been studied both in the presence and absence of redox systems. Comparison of potential/current curves for the systems showed that the current multiplication factor, α, was in the range 1·88–2·73. These results taken together with the other electrochemical properties of the oxide are consistent with it ...

We report the synthesis, crystal structure, and magnetic, electrochemical, and carrier-transport properties of vanadyl tetrakis(thiadiazole)porphyrazine (abbreviated as VOTTDPz) with S = ½. X-ray crystal analysis reveals two polymorphs, the α and β forms; the former consists of a 1D regular π stacking, while the latter forms a 2D π network.

Abstract Dynamically obtained current/voltage curves of bilayer lipid membranes partitioning a solution of lipophilic ions are compared with the results of the type expected in a voltammetry experiment involving ionic transport across a liquid/liquid interface.

The Electrochemistry of Nickel
Journal of The Electrochemical Society, 1963Abstract : The anodic dissolution of Ni was studied in acidified chloride, sulfate, and perchlorate solutions under a variety of non-passivating conditions. The Tafel slopes at 45 deg C are approximately 0.085, 0.115, 0.12, respectively. The lower value of the Tafel slope in chloride solutions is attributed to specific adsorption.
