Comparative Assessment of Nonlocal Continuum Solvent Models Exhibiting Overscreening
Nonlocal continua have been proposed to offer a more realistic model for the electrostatic response of solutions such as the electrolyte solvents prominent in biology and electrochemistry. In this work, we review three nonlocal models based on the Landau-

Synthesis, characterization, and anti-corrosion properties of an 8-hydroxyquinoline derivative
A new 8-hydroxyquinoline derivative, namely 1,3-bis(quinoline-8-dimethylformamide) propane (BQYP), was synthesized and characterized by different spectral methods, such as 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and FTIR spectra.

Bulk photonic metamaterial with hyperbolic dispersion
In this work, we demonstrate a self-standing bulk three-dimensional metamaterial based on the network of silver nanowires in an alumina membrane. This constitutes an anisotropic effective medium with hyperbolic dispersion, which can be used in sub ...

For the first time, a highly sensitive electrochemical biosensor based on SiO2‐based hairy particles with a grafted PDMAEMA polymer brush containing a quantifiable and large amount of immobilized Laccase is reported. The fabricated biosensor exhibits a sensitivity of 0.14 A·m⁻¹, a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.1 µm, and a detection range of 0.3–750 µm,
