Rapid microwave plasma torch engineering tunes crystal phases, carbon graphitization and oxygen‐vacancy defects in HfO2/C@C core‐shell fibrous membranes. Synergistic multi‐loss effects optimize impedance matching to deliver −65.75 dB reflection loss and a 7.37 GHz effective bandwidth for flexible electromagnetic wave absorption.

Polarization mode coupling and related effects in fiber Bragg grating inscribed in polarization maintaining fiber [PDF]
©2016 Optical Society of America. Polarization mode coupling (PMC) and related effects from writing fiber Bragg gratings in polarization maintaining fiber (FBGs-in- PMF) are observed experimentally for the first time by optical fiber coherence domain ...

Schematic illustration of LNP‐MPG nuclei‐targeting delivery of HMW‐FGF2 promoting histone acetylation to regulate the fate of DPSCs and treat spinal cord injury. LNPs components include pHMW‐FGF2 plasmid, DSPC, Dlin‐MC3‐DMA, cholesterol, and PEG2000, and are modified with MPG to form HMW‐FGF2@LNP‐MPG (HLM). HLM nuclei‐targets DPSCs to deliver HMW‐FGF2,

Cross-polarization coupling in polarization maintaining fiber induced by periodic mechanical stress
One of the applications of polarization maintaining (PM) fibers is the creation of various sensors including level and hydrostatic pressure sensors. An external mechanical stress on a PM fiber causes cross-polarization coupling.

An Alhagi maurorum inspired hierarchical composite membrane (NFCu) was developed by integrating heavy metal remediation and solar‐driven interfacial evaporation in a single platform. Beyond the photothermal effect, a localized photocatalytic process is realized on the CuO surface, deepening the mechanistic understanding of light–matter–water ...

Stable dual-wavelength laser incorporating polarization-maintaining erbium-doped fiber
A stable dual-wavelength erbium-doped fiber laser is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The mode competition in the gain medium was suppressed by enhancing the polarization hole burning mechanism through incorporation of polarization maintaining ...

This study presents a magneto‐mechanical strategy that incorporates FP@MSCs into an aligned PCL/GelMA nerve guidance conduit. Magnetic stimulation increases membrane tension in FP@MSCs, triggering cytoskeletal remodeling, Schwann cell‐like differentiation, and TIMP1 secretion. TIMP1 activates ITGB1/CD63–FAK signaling in NE‐4C cells, increasing membrane
