Analysis of polarization characteristics of freeform surface optical system [PDF]
Freeform surfaces are widely used in off-axis optical systems with large aperture, large field of view, and long focal length. The polarization effect caused by the non-rotationally symmetrical shape has an impact on the system’s polarization imaging ...

Study of Polarized Structure Functions of 3He and 3H in NNLO Approximation [PDF]
Experiments utilizing the deep inelastic scattering of leptons from nucleons have been one of the modern tools to understand the complex structure of nucleons in recent and future lepton and hadron colliders.

Polar Codes: Speed of Polarization and Polynomial Gap to Capacity [PDF]
We prove that, for all binary-input symmetric memoryless channels, polar codes enable reliable communication at rates within $ε> 0$ of the Shannon capacity with a block length, construction complexity, and decoding complexity all bounded by a {\em polynomial} in $1/ε$.

Some Bounds for the Polar Derivative of a Polynomial [PDF]
The polar derivative of a polynomial p(z) of degree n with respect to a complex number α is a polynomial np(z)+α-zp′(z), denoted by Dαp(z). Let 1≤R≤k. For a polynomial p(z) of degree n having all its zeros in z≤k, we investigate a lower bound of modulus of Dαp(z) on z=R.

On Length of Boolean Functions of a Small Number of Variables in the Class of Pseudo-Polynomials
Minimization of Boolean functions in their various representations is required in logic design of digital devices. EXOR sums (polynomial forms) are considered among other representations.

An Algorithm for Minimization of Boolean Functions in the Class of Toffoli Reversible Logic Circuits [PDF]
In this paper, the problem of Boolean function's representation by the reversible circuits constructed of the Toffoli gates is considered. Interest in this problem is connected with actual studies of the possibility for realization of "cold" computations.
