Spatial observation‐error correlations for AMSU‐A in all‐sky assimilation: An ECMWF and UK Met Office intercomparison

Assimilation of AMSU‐A all‐sky observations can be increased up to fivefold if spatial observation‐error correlations are accounted for properly. Rounded Monodisperse Fluorescent Nanodiamonds

Nanodiamond (ND) shape control using rapid molten‐nitrate etching is studied as a scale‐up method for monodispersed rounded particles.
