Some Bounds for the Polar Derivative of a Polynomial [PDF]
The polar derivative of a polynomial p(z) of degree n with respect to a complex number α is a polynomial np(z)+α-zp′(z), denoted by Dαp(z). Let 1≤R≤k. For a polynomial p(z) of degree n having all its zeros in z≤k, we investigate a lower bound of modulus of Dαp(z) on z=R.

Boosting Photo‐Pyroelectric Effect via Tunable Polarization and Interfacial Defect Engineering
This study reports Ba(Ti0.85Zr0.15)O3 nanocatalysts with enhanced polarization and oxygen‐vacancy‐rich interfaces for efficient NIR‐II photo‐pyroelectric therapy. Zr doping boosts the pyroelectric coefficient and accelerates polarization switching, while oxygen vacancies improve photothermal conversion and surface reactivity.

Polar permutation graphs are polynomial-time recognisable
Polar graphs generalise bipartite graphs, cobipartite graphs, and split graphs, and they constitute a special type of matrix partitions. A graph is polar if its vertex set can be partitioned into two, such that one part induces a complete multipartite graph and the other part induces a disjoint union of complete graphs.
