ABSTRACT This research examines key tensions and the archetypal paradox that prevent the transformation to a circular economy (CE) across individual, organizational, and systems levels, problematizing CE assumptions. Hidden in Plain Sight: Gender Diversity at the Innovation Core and Environmental Innovation

ABSTRACT This paper estimates the effect of gender diversity on firm‐level environmental innovation. We use a large Spanish panel data and construct an inverse‐covariance‐weighted environmental innovation index. Identification comes from persistent within‐firm increases in women's representation, measured relative to a 2‐year rolling pre‐event baseline.

Applications of Biomaterials in Separators for Secondary Batteries

In this review, biomaterial‐based separators are reviewed as sustainable alternatives to conventional polyolefin‐based separators. For 12 different natural polymers, spanning from Protista, Plantae, and Animalia, viable strategies for synthesizing biomass‐based separators are described.
