Fourteen plain regions are analysed within Europe to validate the Euro‐CORDEX model simulations using a special performance score system. Our results suggest a general overestimation of mean and extreme precipitation in winter, while spatial differences can be seen in summer, as model simulations tend to underestimate in the southern regions.
