Scattering‐Based Model of the SAR Signatures of Complex Targets for Classification Applications

open access: yesInternational Journal of Navigation and Observation, Volume 2008, Issue 1, 2008., 2008
The modeling of complex target response in SAR imagery is the main subject of this paper. The analysis of a large database of SAR images with polarimetric and interferometric capabilities is used to accurately establish how the different structural parts of targets interact with the incident signal.

The Dual-Band PolInSAR Method for Forest Parametrization

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing, 2016
There are basically two methods for retrieving the ground and the canopy height from interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) in forested areas. The first method is based on the difference between InSAR height estimations from dual-band (DB) systems, typically operating at X- and P-bands HH.
