Suspected Case of Persistent Thiamin Deficiency in a Hand-Reared Caribou Calf. [PDF]
A hand‐reared caribou calf experienced a suspected thiamine deficiency for > 3 months. Clinical signs of disease were largely neurological and temporarily relieved with thiamin injections, but did not fully resolve until a rumen transfaunation was performed.
