This study demonstrates, for the first time, the effectiveness of using LDH as an anodic material in SIB. The material is stable and show high specific capacity, the reaction mechanism has been thoroughly investigated and comprehensively described and involves a phase change reaction followed by sodium intercalation.

Motion planning and control of an installation robot for attitude adjustment of arc parts in underground shield tunneling

Inspired by spiders, the multilegged walk‐through assembling robot for arc parts achieves high‐precision synchronous control under heavy loads through dual‐layer hydraulic pose dynamics modeling and hierarchical pressure optimization, significantly enhancing shield tunneling assembly efficiency and precision.

This review elucidates the velocity–dispersion–attenuation coupling mechanisms of wave propagation in rock masses, compares six representative models, and reveals how pressure, temperature, mineral composition, and anisotropy jointly control dynamic responses in complex geological media.

Where are the edges of a protected area? Political dispossession in Machu Picchu, Peru

This report draws on fieldwork done in Machu Picchu, Peru in order to critique the Wittemyer et al. (2008) study on population growth around protected areas. I disagree with the study′s emphasis on reducing people′s motives to economic drives alone.
