This systematic review of 13 studies identifies factors for the adaptive capacity of persons with dementia during extreme weather events. Key findings indicate that while social isolation and displacement exacerbate cognitive decline, community support and socialization may enhance resilience.

Italian Basic Terms Blu and Azzurro: Semantic Power Assessed in the Stroop Task
A Stroop task revealed an asymmetry of the semantic power of the two basic “Italian blues,” blu “dark blue” and azzurro “light blue.” BLU word, rendered in dark and light blue inks, showed no significant Stroop effects. Seaward mangrove edge exhibited significant retreat after extreme disturbances. Rhizophora stylosa exhibited impaired regeneration and root damage in heavily disturbed areas, trait variation primarily responded to elevation and sediment properties, vegetation loss triggered subsidence, creating a positive biogeomorphic feedback loop.

ABSTRACT This article examines Karen Tei Yamashita's Tropic of Orange (1997) through the lens of Mark Fisher's influential concept ‘capitalist realism’. Scholars of petrofiction have pointed to a political ambivalence in the representation of fossil fuels, where a better understanding of fossil capital can overwhelm as much as galvanize.

Neural Mechanisms of Bidirectional Visuo‐Linguistic Transformation in Interactive Communication
Using hyperscanning fMRI and a role‐switching task, we examined how individuals transform visual input into language and reconstruct imagery from speech. Whole‐brain analyses identified key regions, and effective connectivity among IFG, FFA, and IPS revealed dynamic, role‐dependent shifts in information flow direction.
