A Transdisciplinary Framework to Bridge Science–Policy–Development Gaps in Global Land Management Initiatives

open access: yesGlobal Challenges, EarlyView.
This study presents a transdisciplinary framework to enhance Sustainable Land Management (SLM) by strengthening the weak integration between science, policy, and development. A global analysis of 236 countries revealed widespread soil erosion risks and inadequate SLM implementation. The proposed seven‐stage framework aims to improve coordination across

Removal of Phenol by Ozonation in Strongly Alkaline Conditions using a Jet Loop Reactor Operated in Continuous Phase

open access: yesGlobal Challenges, EarlyView.
This study presents the removal of phenol by ozonation in a continuously operated jet loop reactor (JLR) under strong alkaline conditions. The effects of ozone concentration, hydraulic retention time, and influent phenol levels on phenol, COD, and TOC removal are evaluated to assess the efficiency of JLR‐based ozonation.
