Is there a diel pattern to nectar secretion in the Red Bloodwood Corymbia gummifera? [PDF]
Nectar secretion was measured at 6-h intervals over a 24-h period in flowers of the Red Bloodwood, Corymbia gummifera (family Myrtaceae). Secretion varied among time periods and among trees. There was no clear diurnal or nocturnal pattern.

Beyond the green solvent paradigm, this review redefines Deep Eutectic Systems (DES) as programmable supramolecular nanoassemblies. We survey their biomedical convergence: stabilizing thermolabile mRNA to enable cold chain‐free logistics, reshaping transdermal microneedle delivery, enabling long‐term wearables via eutectogels, and utilizing Generative ...

ABSTRACT Excessive water production in mature oil fields necessitates robust shut‐off treatments, yet conventional polymer gels often fail under high‐temperature and high‐salinity conditions. This study aims to enhance gel thermal stability and mechanical strength by incorporating selenium‐doped Ag/AgO–ZnO nanocomposites synthesized via a novel green ...

Ecosystem functioning, ecosystem services and rooibos production as affected by connectivity to natural vegetation and agrochemical use in rooibos tea (Aspalathus linearis) farming [PDF]
Globally, increasing land-use intensity has led to more intensive farming practices at the local scale and the loss of non-crop habitats at the landscape scale which may affect various ecosystem services.
