Scald Water Additives and Pollutant Load
Abstract Characteristics of the organic matter in poultry scald water treated with different types and quantities of scald water additives were studied. When scald water was treated with recommended levels of three different scald additive compounds, suspended matter was found to be lower than control water for two treatments but higher for the third.
