Abstract The middle Permian represents a critical interval in therapsid evolution, when gorgonopsians emerged as some of the first specialized apex predators within terrestrial ecosystems. Despite their significance, the early diversification of Gorgonopsia in Gondwana remains poorly understood due to scarcity and fragmentary material.

Radon as a Tracer for Lunar Volatiles [PDF]
Radon and its decay product polonium can be used as tracers to search for lunar volatiles. One effective technique to look for them would be by using alpha-particle spectrometers from lunar orbit.

Genetic Diversity, Adaptation, Wild Introgression, and Coat Color Mutation of Golden Yak
Genetic diversity, adaptation, wild introgression, and coat color mutation of golden yak from two populations on the Qinghai‐Xizang Plateau. ABSTRACT The golden yak lives on the Qinghai‐Xizang Plateau with a golden coat and adapts to high altitudes and strong ultraviolet environment. The golden coat is a prominent phenotype in many domesticated species,

Health Risk Evaluations for Ingestion Exposure of Humans to Polonium-210
The incident in London during November 2006 involving a lethal intake by Mr. Alexander Litvinenko of the highly-radioactive, alpha-particles-emitting polonium-210 (Po-210) isotope, presumably via ingestion, sparked renewed interest in the area of Po-210 ...

Multi‐omic profiling reveals immune cell priming signature linked to lupus prognosis
Objective Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a multi‐organ disease with widespread immune dysregulation and significant unmet clinical need. Blood‐based gene expression studies have advanced our understanding of SLE pathogenesis but may overlook critical tissue‐specific mechanisms that drive disease heterogeneity and progression.

Pharmacogenetic CYP2B6 variants affect steroid hormone metabolism in human breast cancer cells
Common genetic CYP2B6 variants correlate with adverse breast cancer outcome. The oestrogen metabolites estriol and 16‐epiestriol, which are formed downstream of CYP2B6‐catalysed 16α/β‐hydroxytestosterone, may be linked to elevated breast cancer risk and might increase due to the demonstrated CYP2B6 variants‐related metabolic shifts.
