High-yield production of polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) by Ralstonia eutropha KCTC 2662 was investigated using soybean oil and γ-butyrolactone as carbon sources. In flask culture, it was shown that R. eutropha KCTC 2662 accumulated PHAs during the growth phase.
