Synthetic Strategies for Activity‐Based Probes to Decode Ubiquitin‐Like Modifiers
ABSTRACT Ubiquitin‐like proteins (Ubls) such as SUMO, NEDD8, ISG15, URM1, UFM1, FAT10, ATG8/ATG12, and FUBI are essential regulators of cellular homeostasis, controlling processes from protein stability and trafficking to immune signaling and autophagy.

Monosubstituted N‐arylhydroxylamines represent a unique subclass of hydroxylamines that act as pivotal intermediates in redox transformations and as versatile platforms for further synthetic transformations. They serve as key building blocks in the synthesis of architecturally complex heterocycles and other valuable organic compounds.

Estimation of the Unperturbed Chain Dimensions of Poly(Vinyl Chloride) Polymer by Various Methods [PDF]
Flory Fox, Kurata-Stockmayer, Berry, Inagaki-Suzuki-Kurata, Stockmayer-Fixman and Ahmad-Baloch methods based on the excluded volume theory have been applied to poly(vinyl chloride)-cyclohexanone system to obtain Kq and the radius of gyration.

A one‐shot Pd(II)‐catalyzed C─H activation strategy enables the rapid conversion of simple linear propiolamides into structurally diverse mono‐, di‐, and tri‐olefin‐bridged MPAEs. This cascade process orchestrates up to six sequential C–H activations in a single operation, providing streamlined access to highly conjugated architectures.

Abstract Free‐radical grafting of natural polymers often assumes that initiators only create active sites before monomer addition. We tested this by exposing sodium alginate to potassium persulphate (KPS) under typical grafting conditions without monomer (acrylamide).
