Oxyluminescence of polyamide 12
Polymer Degradation and Stability, 1994Abstract The oxyluminescence of unstabilised samples of polyamide 12 was studied in the temperature range 80–250°C. The chemiluminescence intensity was first recorded at constant oxygen pressure and temperature. The kinetic curves reveal the existence of two kinetic stages.

Fusion bonding of polyamide 12
Polymer Engineering & Science, 2001AbstractThe strength of fusion bonds between polyamide 12 plaques has been investigated as a function of processing conditions, using the double cantilever beam geometry to measure the mode I critical strain energy release rate, Gc. Bonding was carried out using an instrumented press, which allowed systematic variation of the bonding time, the holding ...

Thermoplastic Elastomer Based on Epoxidized Natural Rubber/Polyamide-12 and Co-Polyamide-12 Blends
Advanced Materials Research, 2012Thermoplastic elastomers based on blending of epoxidized natural rubber with 30 mol% epoxide (ENR-30) with polyamide-12 (PA-12) (i.e., ENR-30/PA-12) and blending of ENR-30 with co-polyamide-12 (ENR-30/CO-PA-12) were prepared by dynamic vulcanization technique. It was found that the dynamically cured ENR-30/PA-12 blends exhibited higher tensile strength,

One‐pot synthesis of polyamide 12,T–polyamide‐6 block copolymers
Journal of Polymer Science Part A: Polymer Chemistry, 2011AbstractPolyamide 12,T–polyamide‐6 (PA‐12,T–PA‐6) block copolymers were synthesized by anionic polymerization of caprolactam using a PA‐12,T macrocoinitiator (McI). PA‐12,T McI and its precursors are soluble in molten caprolactam allowing for both the McI step‐growth polymerization and anionic polymerization to be performed in one‐pot.

Relaxational properties of plasticized polyamide-12
Polymer Science U.S.S.R., 1979The dielectric relaxation characteristics of polyamide-12 (polydodecalactam), plasticized by sulphonamides of the type RSO2NHC4H9 (where R is phenyl, β-naphthyl, 3-pyridyl or 8-quinolyl), were studied over a wide range of temperatures and frequencies (−100°C to + 100°C and 0.5–200 kHz). The glass temperature and relaxation time were determined, and the

Viskositäts‐molekulargewichts‐beziehung für polyamid‐12
Die Makromolekulare Chemie, 1977AbstractLight‐scattering and viscosity measurements were performed on dilute solutions of polyamide‐12 in 1,1,1,3,3,3‐hexafluoro‐2‐propanol at 25°C. The [η]‐M̄w relationship was determined to be [η]=8,43·10−4·M̄w0,68 dl g−1.

The crystallization kinetics of polyamide-12
Colloid & Polymer Science, 2001The crystallization kinetics of polyamide-12 has been investigated using a combination of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and hot-stage optical microscopy. The DSC data for isothermal crystallization were consistent with a simple two-parameter Avrami model for isothermal crystallization and optical measurements of the spherulite growth rates ...
