Clinical application of additive manufacturing in maxillofacial prosthetics: A scoping review

open access: yesJournal of Prosthodontics, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose Digital workflows provide significant advances in prosthodontics, especially in terms of accuracy, reduced treatment duration, and quality of life. Moreover, additive manufacturing (AM) is particularly adapted for the fabrication of personalized complex prototypes required for the prosthetic rehabilitation of maxillofacial defects ...

Ordnungszustände im system polyamid‐6 und polyamid‐6, 6

Makromolekulare Chemie. Macromolecular Symposia, 1986
AbstractBlends of PA‐6 and PA‐6,6 were studied by DSC for different conditions of crystallization. All samples were characterized by x‐ray diffraction. From dilute solution the components crystallize in separate modifications. In the melt both components are compatible. PA‐6‐ and PA‐6,6‐segments are linked together.

Preparation and properties of polyamide 6/polypropylene–vermiculite nanocomposite/polyamide 6 alloys

Journal of Applied Polymer Science, 2002
AbstractPolypropylene–vermiculite nanocomposites can be achieved by simple melt mixing of maleic anhydride‐modified vermiculite with polypropylene. Maleic anhydride acts either as a compatibilizer for the polymeric matrix or as a swelling agent for the silicate.

Composite Polyamide 6/Polypyrrole Conductive Nanofibers

Macromolecular Rapid Communications, 2009
AbstractConductive Polyamide 6 (PA‐6) nanofibers were prepared by making a conductive polypyrrole coating obtained by a polymerization of pyrrole molecules directly on the fiber surface. A solution of PA‐6 added with ferric chloride in formic acid has been electrospun and the fibers obtained showed an average diameter of 260 nm with a smooth surface ...
