Makromolekulare Chemie. Macromolecular Symposia, 1986AbstractBlends of PA‐6 and PA‐6,6 were studied by DSC for different conditions of crystallization. All samples were characterized by x‐ray diffraction. From dilute solution the components crystallize in separate modifications. In the melt both components are compatible. PA‐6‐ and PA‐6,6‐segments are linked together.

Generally, it is difficult to enhance the ductility without significantly reducing the tensile strength. In this study, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) is mixed with 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, and 12.5% polyamide 6 (PA6).

Macromolecular Rapid Communications, 2004AbstractSummary: A series of molecular composites of PA 6/PA 66 was synthesized via in situ polymerization. The impact resistance of PA 6 was improved dramatically by incorporating a minor amount of PA 66 (2–10 wt.‐%), without decreasing the tensile strength.
