Blue emitting polyaniline

Chemical Communications, 2006
A family of stable polyaniline (PANI) derivatives exhibiting deep blue photoluminescence (PL) has been prepared. The synthetic strategy provides a unique way to functionalize the PANI backbone.

Nanostructured Polyaniline Sensors

Chemistry – A European Journal, 2004
AbstractThe conjugated polymer polyaniline is a promising material for sensors, since its conductivity is highly sensitive to chemical vapors. Nanofibers of polyaniline are found to have superior performance relative to conventional materials due to their much greater exposed surface area.

Thin film polyaniline-polyaniline electrochemical cells

Journal of Applied Electrochemistry, 1993
Electrodeposited polyaniline (PANT) in the emeraldine oxidation state was used as the electrodes of open rechargeable cells containing 1 m HClO4 as the electrolyte. The cells could be charged at very high hourly rates to 85% of the redox charge in the leucoemeraldine-emeraldine transition of the polymer.

Flexible polyaniline

Journal of Polymer Science Part A: Polymer Chemistry, 1988
AbstractFlexible polyaniline having excellent mechanical properties (e.g., elongation at break = 41% and tensile strength = 1.8 kg cm−2) was prepared by electrochemical reduction of ordinary polyaniline in organic solvents. The flexibility is directly related with the polymer morphology which was definitely affected by the nature of electrolyte anion ...

Polyaniline supercapacitors

Journal of Power Sources, 2017
Polyaniline (PANI) has been widely used for the energy storage applications either as a conducting agent or directly as an electroactive material due to the tunable pseudocapacitive performance owing to its various oxidation states. Although PANI supercapacitors are known for over three decades, immediate attention has been paid just over the past few ...
