Coupling Nanostructured Plasmon–Strain Microwave Waveguide to Spin Defects in Hexagonal Boron Nitride for High‐Sensitivity Quantum Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Coupling of spin‐active VB−$V_B^ - $ defects in hBN with alumina‐coated gold plasmonic nanoresonators (PNRs), integrated into a microwave‐efficient waveguide, constitutes a plasmon‐strain architecture that enhances their photoluminescence and spin contrast. This platform enables a tenfold quantum yield improvement and achieves a DC magnetic sensitivity

Science‐Towards‐Technology Breakthrough in CO2 Electroreduction: Multiphysics, Multiscale, and Artificial Intelligence Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Electrochemical CO2RR is a key technology for converting CO2 into chemicals, but there remains a gap between “laboratory science” and “engineering practice” in current research. This review establishes a multi‐scale research framework, encompassing atomic‐level characterization, microenvironment regulation, external field‐assisted optimization, and AI ...

Structural features and relaxation properties of PET/PC blends containing impact strength modifier and chain extender

open access: yeseXPRESS Polymer Letters, 2009
It has been investigated how methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) influences the morphology, rheological, mechanical and relaxation properties, as well as PET crystallizability, of PET/PC/(PP/EPDM) ternary blends produced by the reactive extrusion ...

One‐Dimensional Materials Supported in Two‐Dimensional Van der Waals Metal–Organic Frameworks with Optical Anisotropy Switching via Twist‐Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We introduce a molecular strategy to assemble one‐dimensional (1D) materials into two‐dimensional (2D) van der Waals metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). Crystals of [FeX(pzX)(bpy)] (X = Cl, F) form anisotropic 2D layers that can be mechanically exfoliated into thin sheets.

Tribological and Rheological Characterization of 3D Printed Polycarbonate: Effect of Layer Orientation, Surface Topography, and Lubrication Conditions

open access: yesLubricants
Understanding the tribological behavior of additively manufactured polymers is essential for their reliable use in sliding components. Tribological tests were performed on a linear reciprocating tribometer pin-on-plate configuration using a polycarbonate

Superior Impact‐Resistant Composite Hydrogels Through an Ionic Coupling Strategy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An ionic coupling strategy is developed to simultaneously reinforce networks and interfaces in composite hydrogels. Sodium citrate acts as a single multifunctional ionic coupler to strengthen the poly(vinyl alcohol) matrix via the Hofmeister effect, reinforce the chitosan–sodium alginate nanofiber network via desolvation and electrostatic crosslinking,
