Norethisterone‐Associated Decidual Cast Expulsion Mimicking an Acute Gynecologic Emergency: A Case Report

ABSTRACT Decidual cast is a rare benign condition that may mimic acute gynecologic emergencies. It should be suspected in patients with severe colicky pain followed by sudden relief after tissue expulsion, especially with progestin use such as norethisterone.
