A Piezo‐Mimetic Ionic Hydrogel Harnessing Joint Motion for Cartilage Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A piezo‐mimetic ionic hydrogel converts mechanical deformation into bioactive ionic currents via stress‐induced asymmetric ion migration. Coupled with sustained Mg2+ release, this mechano‐electrochemical platform bridges mechanical loading and cellular signaling, enabling load‐adaptive stimulation and enhanced cartilage regeneration. ABSTRACT Articular

The Viscosity of Extremely Low Concentrated Anionic Polyelectrolyte Solutions

open access: yesApplied Rheology, 1999
Polyelectrolytes are macromolecules which carry a large quantity of ionizable groups along their chains. By dissolving them in suitable solvents, for example water, these groups dissociate in highly charged macroions and an equivalent quantity of low ...

Oligopeptides/DNA Coacervate Droplets as Macromolecular Delivery Microcarriers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Oligopeptide–DNA coacervates formed via liquid–liquid phase separation serve as programmable carriers for macromolecular cargos, entering cells through lipid raft–associated pathways and subsequently undergoing enzyme triggered intracellular disassembly driven by DNA degradation processes, thereby enabling efficient, controlled, and spatially defined ...

Synthesis and characterization of a hyper-branched water-soluble β-cyclodextrin polymer

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2014
A new hyper-branched water-soluble polymer was synthesized by reacting β-cyclodextrin with pyromellitic dianhydride beyond the critical conditions that allow the phenomenon of gelation to occur. The molar ratio between the monomers is a crucial parameter

Geometry‐Controlled Assembly of Self‐Standing Nanorods With Undisturbed Plasmonics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reports a geometry‐driven assembly strategy to vertically align Au@Ag core–shell nanorods on PS beads. This well‐defined architecture enables the preservation of the intrinsic optical response of individual nanorods. Thus, demonstrate a highly reproducible SERS enhancement with exceptional uniformity.
