Thermal Degradation Kinetics and Flame‐Retardant Synergy in Zinc Borate/Red Phosphorus‐Filled Thermoplastic Polyurethane Composites

The synergistic interaction between red phosphorus (RP) and zinc borate (ZnB) enhances the thermal stability and flame retardancy of TPU by forming a dense, stable protective char layer. Non‐isothermal kinetic analysis confirms a complex degradation mechanism governed by conversion‐dependent activation energy.

Posidonia oceanica Leaves as a Natural Filler for Poly(Butylene Succinate‐Co‐Adipate) Composites: Characterization and Biodegradation Assessment in Seawater

This study shows that incorporating 5–10 wt.% Posidonia oceanica, with or without micro‐talc, in PBSA preserves thermal stability, modifying crystallization behavior, and maintains good filler dispersion and interfacial adhesion. Mechanical properties are moderately stiffened.
