Study of Intrinsic Viscosity and Flow Activation Energy of Some Polymers in Different Solvents

open access: yesمجلة النهرين للعلوم الهندسية, 2017
The intrinsic viscosity has been studied for several polymers which are used in some industrial applications, such as polyisobutylene of types Oppanol B150, 200, and 250 with different molecular weights of 2.5, 4.1 and 5.9 million g/mole, respectively ...

Structural and time-domain peculiarities of the fluorescence excitation spectra of single Mg-TAP in a polymer at low temperatures

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
The results of low-temperature measurements of spectral trails (temporal evolutions of individual fluorescence excitation spectra) of single molecules Mg-tetraazaporphyrin embedded in polyisobutylene are presented.

Impact of Extrusion and Direct Calendering on Dry‐Coated Cathodes for Sulfidic All‐Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 16, Issue 11, 18 March 2026.
This work demonstrates a parameter optimization for a scalable dry coating process of sulfidic ASSB cathodes (82 wt% CAM, 0.5 wt% PTFE binder) in dry room atmosphere. High‐shear extruder mixing and calendering are used to form a cathode film based on PTFE fibrillation.

Zero-Group-Velocity acoustic waveguides for high-frequency resonators

open access: yes, 2017
The propagation of the Lamb-like modes along a silicon-on-insulator (SOI)/AlN thin supported structure was theoretically studied in order to exploit the intrinsic zero group velocity (ZGV) features to design electroacoustic resonators that do not require

Temperature Influence of the Molar Excess Volume for Polyalkylene Glycol–Water Lubricants Systems

open access: yesChemical Engineering &Technology, Volume 49, Issue 3, March 2026.
Understanding how water alters volumetric behavior in advanced lubricants is essential for future energy systems. This study demonstrates how temperature and pressure govern the molecular interactions in a PAG–water lubricant mixture, explains the transition from compact molecular packing to expansion, and highlights important implications for ...

Temperature Dependences of Single Dye-Molecules Zero-Phonon Line Widths in a Broad Range of Low Temperatures

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2015
In the present work the individual temperature dependences of zero-phonon spectral line widths of single tetra-tert-butylterrylene dye-molecules in polyisobutylene were measured in a broad range of low temperatures (from 20 K up to 67 K).

Effect of microchannel aspect ratio on residence time distributions and the axial dispersion coefficient [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The effect of microchannel aspect ratio (channel depth/channel width) on residence time distributions and the axial dispersion coefficient have been investigated for Newtonian and shear thinning non-Newtonian flow using computational fluid dynamics.

Design and Performance of Two‐Sided Self‐Protecting Perovskite Solar Cells for Indoor Vertical Applications

open access: yesSmall Science, Volume 6, Issue 3, March 2026.
Two‐sided self‐protecting perovskite solar cell scheme in a working ambient, doubling performances and extending stability over time with respect to the reference perovskite solar cell. We present a novel photovoltaic architecture that integrates two perovskite solar cells (PSCs), each fabricated on a separate substrate and bonded back‐to‐back, forming
