New concept for polymer electrolyte: Dual-phase polymer electrolyte

Abstract Two types of dual-phase polymer electrolytes (DPE), mixed latex DPE and core-shell latex DPE, were fabricated from styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) and acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) latex mixture, and from polybutadiene (PB)/ poly (vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) core-shell latex.

Gel Polymer Electrolyte

Gel polymer electrolyte containing immobilized different types of salts (LiPF6, LiBF4, TEABF4) in aprotic solvents (PC, EC:DEC, EC DMC) were prepared by UV polymerization. Electrolytes were optimized to achieve suitable ionic conductivity (up to 7.5 mS/cm) and good mechanical stability.
