Energy loss of fast electrons impinging upon polymethylmethacrylate
This paper deals with the calculation of the differential inverse inelastic mean free path, the inelastic mean free path, the stopping power, the range of penetration, and the distribution function for inelastic collisions causing energy losses less than

Chlorine‐Free Depolymerization of Commercial PMMA via Oxygen‐Centered Radicals
A new chlorine‐free photothermal method enables sustainable recycling of plastics with C–C backbones under mild conditions. Driven by an oxygen‐centered radical pathway with ppm levels of anthraquinone catalyst, it eliminates hazardous chlorinated solvents, achieving an impressive 97% depolymerization conversion.

A single‐solvent acetone strategy simultaneously restores laser‐ablated PMMA surfaces and enables high‐strength bonding for microfluidic device fabrication. The process produces smooth, optically clear channels, achieves bonding strengths up to 27.3 MPa, and forms leak‐free devices within 25 min, providing a rapid and accessible route to robust PMMA ...

ABSTRACT Intraosseous lipomas (IOLs) are rare benign primary bone tumors, most commonly affecting the calcaneus. Although often asymptomatic, IOLs may present with persistent heel pain mimicking plantar fasciitis. Accurate diagnosis depends on characteristic radiological features, whereas the management strategy remains debated between conservative and

Biodegradation of chitosan-graft-polymethylmethacrylate films.
Methylmethacrylate was graft copolymerized onto chitosan, the N-deacetylated derivative of chitin, by persulfate-induced free radical initiation to get chitosan-graft-polymethylmethacrylate (C-g-PMMA), which could be thermo-pressed into thin films ...

Highly blue emissive ortho‐triarylamine–acceptor (benzonitriles or cyanopyridines) conjugates are rapidly synthesized by bromine–lithium exchange borylation–Suzuki (BLEBS) sequence. Cyclic voltammetry reveals dimerization processes. Photophysical properties display stimuli‐responsive properties revealing them as promising emitters.
