A Jacobi–Legendre polynomial-based method for the stable solution of a deconvolution problem of the Abel integral equation type

In this paper, we build a stable scheme for the solution of a deconvolution problem of the Abel integral equation type. This scheme is obtained by further developing the orthogonal polynomial-based techniques for solving the Abel integral equation of Ammari and Karoui (2010 Inverse Problems 26 105005).
