Multiobjective design optimization of a quadrupole resonator under uncertainties

open access: yesPhysical Review Accelerators and Beams, 2022
For a precise determination of the rf properties of superconducting materials, a calorimetric measurement is carried out with the aid of a so-called quadrupole resonator (QPR).

Invariant Measure and Universality of the 2D Yang–Mills Langevin Dynamic

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 8, Page 1973-2102, August 2026.
ABSTRACT We prove that the Yang–Mills (YM) measure for the trivial principal bundle over the two‐dimensional torus, with any connected, compact structure group, is invariant for the associated renormalised Langevin dynamic. Our argument relies on a combination of regularity structures, lattice gauge‐fixing and Bourgain's method for invariant measures ...

Interval Uncertainty Analysis for Wheel–Rail Contact Load Identification Based on First-Order Polynomial Chaos Expansion

open access: yesMathematics
Traditional methods for identifying wheel–rail contact loads are based on deterministic models, in which the uncertainties such as material inhomogeneity and geometric tolerance are not considered. For wheel–rail contact load analysis with uncertainties,

An Integrated Lumped Parameter Model and Computational Fluid Dynamics Framework for Predicting Hemodynamic Parameters in Pulmonary Vein Stenosis

open access: yesComprehensive Physiology, Volume 16, Issue 3, June 2026.
This work presents a novel computational simulation framework for the study of pulmonary venous hemodynamics that integrates a closed‐loop lumped parameter model (LPM) of the cardiovascular system with a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model of the pulmonary veins and left atrium. Coupling of the LPM and CFD models was accomplished through surrogate

STOCHASTIC STRUCTURAL MODAL ANALYSIS INVOLVING UNCERTAIN PARAMETERS USING GENERALIZED POLYNOMIAL CHAOS EXPANSION

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper, the application of generalized polynomial chaos expansion in stochastic structural modal analysis including uncertain parameters is investigated. We review the theory of polynomial chaos and relating error analysis.

Exact Solutions and Nonlinear Dynamical Behavior in a Navier‐Stokes‐Type Model for Elastic Cylindrical Vessels: An Analytical and Computational Approach

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 6, June 2026.
This study investigates a nonlinear Navier‐Stokes‐type model for elastic cylindrical vessels. Exact solutions are derived via the Bäcklund transformation and the ϕ6$$ {\phi}^6 $$‐expansion method, and dynamical behaviors are analyzed using bifurcation and chaos tools, revealing diverse wave structures and parameter‐dependent propagation characteristics.
