Coprime Factorization with J All-Pass Denominator: The Noncanonical Case [PDF]
Given an arbitrary rational matrix G, we are interested to construct the class of coprime factorizations of G with J-all pass denominators of McMillan degree as small as possible.

On the Complexity of Noncommutative Polynomial Factorization [PDF]
In this paper we study the complexity of factorization of polynomials in the free noncommutative ring $\mathbb{F}\langle x_1,x_2,\dots,x_n\rangle$ of polynomials over the field $\mathbb{F}$ and noncommuting variables $x_1,x_2,\ldots,x_n$. Our main results are the following.

Schemes for deterministic polynomial factoring [PDF]
In this work we relate the deterministic complexity of factoring polynomials (over finite fields) to certain combinatorial objects we call m-schemes. We extend the known conditional deterministic subexponential time polynomial factoring algorithm for finite fields to get an underlying m-scheme.

Factorization of Matrix Polynomials with Symmetries [PDF]
This paper presents a detailed study of the factorizations of matrix polynomials with symmetries. It begins with defining the key properties of matrix polynomials to be discussed: selfadjoint, symmetric, general rank, generally invertible, etc. Then representations of factorizations of various matrix polynomials are presented in detail.

On the Composition Ideals of Schatten Class Type Mappings
We study the composition ideals of multilinear and polynomial mappings generated by Schatten classes. We give some coincidence theorems for Cohen strongly 2-summing multilinear operators and factorization results like that given by Lindenstrauss ...

ABSTRACT Background Japan has one of the highest dialysis prevalence rates worldwide and a shrinking, aging population. Whether dialysis burden has entered a sustained post‐peak phase or whether recent declines partly reflect pandemic‐related disruptions remains uncertain.

Vector-exponential time-series modeling for polynomial J-spectral factorization [PDF]
An iterative algorithm to perform the J-spectral factorization of a para-Hermitian matrix is presented. The algorithm proceeds by computing a special kernel representation of an interpolant for a sequence of points and associated directions determined ...

The physical dimensions and shape of bacterial cells define the surface area available to acquire nutrients and the volume available for synthesizing proteins and DNA. Here, we use computational systems biology to decode the importance of cell geometry as a major determinant of prokaryotic phenotype, including growth rate and metabolic efficiency. This

Factorizations of Symmetric Macdonald Polynomials [PDF]
We prove many factorization formulas for highest weight Macdonald polynomials indexed by particular partitions called quasistaircases. Consequently, we prove a conjecture of Bernevig and Haldane stated in the context of the fractional quantum Hall effect theory.
