Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

Geometry and integrability of quadratic systems with invariant hyperbolas
Let QSH be the family of non-degenerate planar quadratic differential systems possessing an invariant hyperbola. We study this class from the viewpoint of integrability.

Hydrodynamic-type systems describing 2-dimensional polynomially integrable geodesic flows
Starting from a homogeneous polynomial in momenta of arbitrary order we extract multi-component hydrodynamic-type systems which describe 2-dimensional geodesic flows admitting the initial polynomial as integral.

It is shown that laser ablation pretreatment under oxygen‐free conditions enables copper–aluminium bonding at significantly lower deformation degrees and improved properties compared to mechanical brushing. Laser ablation further increases interface contact area and induces favourable residual stress states and microstructural compatibility ...

Ultrashort Pulse Retrieval from Experimental Spectra Transformed in Chalcogenide and Silica Fibers
The characterization of ultrashort optical pulses is a highly requested task. The most popular commercially available hardware/software systems are based on interferometric measurements and second-harmonic generation, leading to some ambiguities and ...

On the Integrand-Reduction Method for Two-Loop Scattering Amplitudes
We propose a first implementation of the integrand-reduction method for two-loop scattering amplitudes. We show that the residues of the amplitudes on multi-particle cuts are polynomials in the irreducible scalar products involving the loop momenta, and ...

Generalized rational first integrals of analytic differential systems [PDF]
In this paper we mainly study the necessary conditions for the existence of functionally independent generalized rational first integrals of ordinary differential systems via the resonances.

Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

Polynomial first integrals via the Poincaré series
The author determines polynomial ordinary differential systems which have a polynomial first integral. One typical result is Theorem 5: The system \[ \begin{aligned} \dot{x}= -y + \lambda _2x^3+ \lambda_3 x^2y + \lambda _4 xy^2 + \lambda _5 y^3, \\ \dot{y}= x + \lambda _6x^3+ \lambda_7 x^2y - \lambda _3 xy^2 + \lambda _8 y^3, \end{aligned} \] has a ...

Additive Gaussian Process Regression for Predictive Design of High‐Performance, Printable Silicones
A chemistry‐aware design framework for tuning printable polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for vat photopolymerization (VPP) is developed using additive Gaussian process (GP) modeling. Polymer network mechanics informs variable groupings, feasible formulation constraints, and interaction variables.
