A noncommutative identity for the appell polynomials

Mathematical Notes, 1998
A sequence of Appell polynomials is defined as a sequence \(A=\{a_n(x),n\geq 0\}\) of polynomials \(a_n(x)\) satisfying the properties: (a) have the degree equal to \(n\); (b) behave like power-law functions under differentiation, i.e. \({da_n(x) \over dx}= na_{-1}(x)\), \(n=0,1, \dots\).

Poisson polynomial identities II

Archiv der Mathematik, 1999
The commutative algebra \(B\) equipped with a bracket \(\{\cdot,\cdot\}\) is called a Poisson algebra if the bracket makes \(B\) a Lie algebra and is assumed to be an associative algebra derivation in each argument. In a series of papers, the author has attempted to develop a purely algebraic theory of Poisson algebras.
