Global existence and blow up of solution for semi-linear hyperbolic equation with the product of logarithmic and power-type nonlinearity [PDF]
In this paper we consider the semilinear wave equation with the multiplication of logarithmic and polynomial nonlinearities. We establish the global existence and finite time blow up of solutions at three different energy levels (\(E(0)\lt d\), \(E(0)=d\)

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.

Sufficient conditions for polynomial asymptotic behaviour of the stochastic pantograph equation
This paper studies the asymptotic growth and decay properties of solutions of the stochastic pantograph equation with multiplicative noise. We give sufficient conditions on the parameters for solutions to grow at a polynomial rate in $p$-th mean and in ...

Computing Solutions to the Polynomial-Polynomial Regulator Problem*
We consider the optimal regulation problem for nonlinear control-affine dynamical systems. Whereas the linear-quadratic regulator (LQR) considers optimal control of a linear system with quadratic cost function, we study polynomial systems with polynomial cost functions; we call this problem the polynomial-polynomial regulator (PPR).

Use of Symptomatic Drug Treatment for Fatigue in Multiple Sclerosis and Patterns of Work Loss
ABSTRACT Objective To describe the use of central stimulants and amantadine for fatigue in MS and evaluate a potential association with reduced work loss in people with MS. Methods We conducted a nationwide, matched, register‐based cohort study in Sweden (2006 to 2023) using national registers with prospective data collection.

ABSTRACT Objective Cognitive decline is a disabling and variable feature of Parkinson disease (PD). While cholinergic system degeneration is linked to cognitive impairments in PD, most prior research reported cross‐sectional associations. We aimed to fill this gap by investigating whether baseline regional cerebral vesicular acetylcholine transporter ...

Polynomial asymptotic stability of damped stochastic differential equations
The paper studies the polynomial convergence of solutions of a scalar nonlinear It\^{o} stochastic differential equation\[dX(t) = -f(X(t))\,dt + \sigma(t)\,dB(t)\] where it is known, {\it a priori}, that $\lim_{t\rightarrow\infty} X(t)=0$, a.s.

Relationship Between Neurologic Symptoms and Signs and FMR1 Genotype in Premutation Carriers
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Fragile X‐associated Tremor/Ataxia Syndrome (FXTAS) is the most severe late‐onset condition caused by a premutation in the FMR1 gene, characterized by expanded CGG triplet repeats of 55–200. Clinical presentations of FXTAS, including gait ataxia, kinetic tremor, cognitive decline, and rare Parkinsonism, are linked to ...
