On plane polynomial vector fields and the Poincare problem
In this paper we address the Poincare problem, on plane polynomial vector fields, under some conditions on the nature of the singularities of invariant curves.

Asymptotically safe f(R)-gravity coupled to matter II: Global solutions
Ultraviolet fixed point functions of the functional renormalisation group equation for f(R)-gravity coupled to matter fields are discussed. The metric is split via the exponential parameterisation into a background metric and a fluctuating part, the ...

First Integrals and Invariants of Systems of Ordinary Differential Equations
We investigate the interplay between monomial first integrals, polynomial invariants of certain group action, and the Poincaré–Dulac normal forms for autonomous systems of ordinary differential equations with a diagonal matrix of the linear part.

Discretization of polynomial vector fields by polarization [PDF]
A novel integration method for quadratic vector fields was introduced by Kahan in 1993. Subsequently, it was shown that Kahan's method preserves a (modified) measure and energy when applied to quadratic Hamiltonian vector fields. Here we generalize Kahan's method to cubic resp.

Compliant Pneumatic Feet with Real‐Time Stiffness Adaptation for Humanoid Locomotion
A compliant pneumatic foot with real‐time variable stiffness enables humanoid robots to adapt to changing terrains. Using onboard vision and pressure control, the foot modulates stiffness within each gait cycle, reducing impact forces and improving balance. The design, cast in soft silicone with embedded air chambers and Kevlar wrapping, offers durable,

Polynomial vector fields with algebraic trajectories
It is known after Jouanolou that a general holomorphic foliation of degree $\geq2$ in projective space has no algebraic leaf. We give formulas for the degrees of the subvarieties of the parameter space of one-dimensional foliations that correspond to foliations endowed with some invariant subvariety of degree 1 or 2 and dimension $\geq1$.
