A revised family-level classification of the Polyporales (Basidiomycota)

Fungal Biology, 2017
Polyporales is strongly supported as a clade of Agaricomycetes, but the lack of a consensus higher-level classification within the group is a barrier to further taxonomic revision. We amplified nrLSU, nrITS, and rpb1 genes across the Polyporales, with a special focus on the latter.

Extensive characterization of the new genus Rickiopora (Polyporales)

Fungal Biology, 2016
Ceriporiopsis latemarginata and Antrodiella angulatopora are two Neotropical polypores that are very similar morphologically and are characterized by effused-reflexed basidiomes, large angular pores, small ellipsoid to ovoid basidiospores and a monomitic hyphal system with presence of thick-walled hyphae with infrequent clamps.

Phylogeny and Taxonomy of Climacocystis (Polyporales) in China

Cryptogamie, Mycologie, 2014
Abstract Climacocystis was a monotypic genus typified by C. borealis. During a continuous survey of poroid basidiomycetes over China, several specimens of a Climacocystis species were collected at high elevations in southwestern China. They deviated from the type species, C.

Fragiliporiaceae, a new family of Polyporales (Basidiomycota)

Fungal Diversity, 2014
Fragiliporiaceae fam. nov., a new poroid wood-inhabiting family, is introduced based on the combination of molecular and morphological data, and is typified by Fragiliporia gen. nov. The phylogenetic analysis shows that Fragiliporia fragilis sp. nov. forms a monophyletic group within Polyporales and warrants the introduction of a new fragiliporia clade

Diplomitoporus (Polyporales, Basidiomycota) in Brazil revisited

Mycological Progress, 2013
Diplomitoporus species reported from Brazil are reviewed and seven species are accepted. Diplomitoporus globisporus and D. intermedius are described as new. Other accepted species are D. allantosporus, D. incisus, D. navis-porus, D. taquarae, and D. venezuelicus. Diplomitoporus marianoi-rochae is reduced to a synonym of D. incisus.

Cultivation of Lentinus subnudus Berk (Polyporales: Polyporaceae) on woodlogs

Bioresource Technology, 2004
Studies were carried out on the cultivability of Lentinus subnudus on woodlogs of various hardwood trees and the effect of chemical treatments of these woodlogs with citric, tartaric, indole-3-acetic (IAA) and gibberellic (GA3) acids on fruitbody production and yield. Of the four hardwood species of Chlorophora excelsa, Terminalia ivorensis, Terminalia

Phylogeny and taxonomy of the genus Abundisporus (Polyporales, Basidiomycota)

Mycological Progress, 2015
Phylogenetic and taxonomic studies of Abundisporus were carried out. Inferred from phylogenies based on DNA sequences of multiple loci including the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) regions, the large subunit nuclear ribosomal RNA gene (nLSU), the small subunit mitochondrial rRNA gene sequences (mtSSU) and the translation elongation factor 1-α gene ...
