Polypropylene nanocomposite with polypropylene-grafted graphene
Macromolecular Research, 2016A method for grafting polypropylene (PP) onto graphene oxide (GO) surfaces was successfully established by functionalizing GO with (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (NH2-t-GO) and grafting maleic-anhydride-grafted PP (MAPP) on NH2-t-GO (MAPP-g-GO). The PP/GO nanocomposites were prepared by compounding MAPP-g-GO with virgin PP.

Crystallization behaviors of polypropylene and functional polypropylene
Journal of Applied Polymer Science, 2003AbstractThe crystallization behaviors of polypropylene (PP) homopolymer and its blends with 0–15% functional polypropylene (FPP), the backbones of which were grafted with guanidine and diamide polymer chains, were investigated with differential scanning calorimetry and wide‐angle X‐ray scattering. The crystallization kinetics were studied with spectral

Polypropylene is a polymer widely used in lens implantation, both as a loop material and as an intracameral suture. The chemistry and qualities of this material are discussed. Predicated on its usage in other types of surgery, it appears to be resistant to degradation.
