The Effect of Water Management and Cell Compression in Bipolar Membrane CO2 Electrolysis to CO

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
In‐operando neutron imaging uncovers water management challenges in bipolar membrane CO2 electrolysis: Internal water generation floods the cathode, while compression dictates membrane and gas diffusion electrode integrity. Strategic adjustments are applied in this work: dry gas feed and mechanical support of the gas diffusion electrode enable stable ...

PERFECTA Loaded Lipid Cubosomes for 19F‐MRI: Physico‐Chemical Characterization

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Phytantriol‐based cubosomes loaded with PERFCTA, a fluorinated MRI probe, were developed as promising systems for imaging and drug delivery. The nanoparticles showed high PERFECTA encapsulation efficiency, strong fluorine MRI signals, and optimal colloidal stability in biological media.

Phase separation spinning of polypropylene fibers

open access: yes, 1972
Polypropylene fibers were spun from solutions of different polymer contents undergoing phase separation. The range of concentrations used was 25 to 60 wt. % polypropylene. The solvent used was naphthalene.

The effect of addition of untreated and oxygen plasma treated polypropylene fibers on some properties of heat cured acrylic resin

open access: yesJournal of Baghdad College of Dentistry, 2013
Background: The polymethyl methacrylate is the most reliable material for the construction of complete and partial dentures, despite satisfying esthetic demand itsuffered from having unsatisfactory properties like impact strength and transverse strength.

Uniaxial compressive strength prediction and ratio parameter optimization of titanium tailings composite backfill materials using intelligent hybrid models

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
Based on the 90 datasets, ERT and four optimization algorithms were used to build four hybrid models to predict the UCS of the backfill body. The SMA‐ERT model was the most effective model, and it can reliably guide the design of the backfill ratio parameters. Abstract This study analyzed the feasibility of using titanium (Ti) tailings as a backfilling
