Taguchi–Bayesian Sampling: A Roadmap for Polymer Database Construction Toward Small Representative Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
This article establishes a Taguchi–Bayesian sampling strategy to reconstruct polymer processing–property landscape at minimal sampling cost, generically building the roadmap for materials database construction from sampling their vast design space. This sampling strategy is featured by an alternating lesson between uniformity and representativeness ...

Different degradability of two similar polypropylenes as revealed by macromolecule scission and crosslinking rates

open access: yes
The photodegradation of bars made from two nominally similar polypropylenes has been monitored during prolonged UV exposure by deriving the scission and crosslink concentrations at different depths using computer-aided analysis of GPC molecular mass ...

Rheological properties of low molecular weight polypropylenes

open access: yes, 1988
Rheological properties of a series of low molecular weight polypropylenes (being used in the manufacture of melt blown fabrics and also in the melt spinning studies) were studied with particular emphasis on elongational properties.

Autonomous AI‐Driven Design for Skin Product Formulations

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
This review presents a comprehensive closed‐loop framework for autonomous skin product formulation design. By integrating artificial intelligence‐driven experiment selection with automated multi‐tiered assays, the approach shifts development from trial‐and‐error to intelligent optimisation.

Overcoming the Nyquist Limit in Molecular Hyperspectral Imaging by Reinforcement Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Explorative spectral acquisition guide automatically selects informative spectral bands to optimize downstream tasks, outperforming full‐spectrum acquisition. The selected hyperspectral data are used for tasks such as unmixing and segmentation. BandOptiNet encodes selection states and outputs optimal bands to guide spectral acquisition. Recent advances

Robot‐Assisted Measurement of the Critical Micelle Concentration

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
The study introduces (SIMO) smart integrator for manual operations, a robotic platform for precise, repeatable determination of (CMC) critical micelle concentration in surfactants. SIMO reduces standard deviation by 80% compared to manual methods. Surfactant, dye, and diluent selection, robotic protocols, and data handling are detailed.
