Synthesis and Characteristics of Polystyrene Nanoparticles and Polystyrene Monolayers
some selected tubers; yam, cocoyam, sweet potatoes and irish potatoes and their surface, sub-surface soils were analyzed for some heavy metal levels. levels of Mn, Pb, Cr, Cd and Cu were investigated using AAS in tubers and their soil samples. The samples were digested with a mixture of nitric acid, sulphuric acid and perchloric acid (5:5:1 v/v).

Owing to production, usage, and disposal of nano-enabled products as well as fragmentation of bulk materials, anthropogenic nanoscale particles (NPs) can enter the natural environment and through different compartments (air, soil, and water) end up into ...

Capillary wave dynamics on supported viscoelastic films: Single and double layers
We study the capillary wave dynamics of a single viscoelastic supported film and of a double layer of immiscible viscoelastic supported films. Using both simple scaling arguments and a continuum hydrodynamic theory, we investigate the effects of ...

Isolation and identification of polystyrene degrading bacteria from zophobas morio’s gut [PDF]
Polystyrene (PS) and expanded polystyrene (EPS) are commodity plastics widely used in many industries. The increase of PS in the environment causes ecological threats.

By fabricating and covalently assembling gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA) porous microgels, a new class of granular hydrogel scaffolds with hierarchical porosity is developed. These scaffolds have a significantly higher void fraction than their counterparts made up of nonporous microgels, enhancing cell recruitment and tissue integration. This research may

Electronic excitation produced by proton moving inside polystyrene using Drude model
The electronic response of target is characterized by its energy-loss function (ELF) , which it described by several models that fit the available experimental data (at zero momentum transfer), but use different approaches to obtain the Bethe surface so
