Kobunshi Kagaku, 1963 硬質および軟質塩化ビニルシート中のポリ塩化ビニル (PVC) が光の作用によって, どのような過程を経て分解するかを調べる目的で, 二三の耐熱耐光性安定剤を混じたPVCシートを作り, 屋外暴露とウェザーメーターによる促進劣化との比較試験を行なった。そして光の被照射試料から得られるPVCのゲル生成量, 平均重合度, 分子量分布曲線の変化を追究して, PVC分子に若干の崩壊と橋かけが起こっていることを確かめた。屋外暴露試験においては可塑剤の存在がPVCの耐光性に好結果を与えたが, ウェザーメーターの試験においては, 可塑剤の有無は確認できるほどの影響を与えないことが知られた。なお可塑剤を含有しないシートの促進劣化試験においてはステアリン酸鉛の結果が良好で ...
