Pyroelectricity in polyvinylidene fluoride
Journal of Applied Physics, 1973The pyroelectric behavior of as-received 2-mil polyvinylidene fluoride films was studied as a function of the poling treatment. It is shown that poling induces a thermally reversible electric polarization in addition to an electric polarization which vanishes upon the first heating of the sample.

Dipole reorientation in polyvinylidene fluoride
Journal of Applied Physics, 1974The thermally stimulated current (TSC) from polarized polyvinylidene fluoride is studied below room temperature. The experimental results indicate that the maximum of the TSC observed at ∼ −50°C is due to reorientation of dipoles in a process associated with the glass transition. Piezoelectric relaxation in polyvinylidene fluoride
Journal of Applied Physics, 1979The piezoelectric and related properties have been measured for stretched polyvinylidene fluoride as a function of temperature. The piezoelectric relaxation observed around the glass transition temperature Tg is discussed taking the two-phase structure into consideration.

Ultrasonics, 1981Abstract The dielectric, elastic and electrostrictive constants of polyvinylidene fluoride (pvdf) are influenced by thermal molecular motion, particularly at the glass transition temperature.
